New European airplay charts by Nielsen Music and Impala highlight the most successful independent artists of 2012’s third quarter

The latest European independent airplay chart released today by IMPALA and Nielsen Music highlight new entries and best climbers.

These charts showcase the diversity and vitality of independent music in Europe, featuring acts such as Orelsan, Die Toten Hosen, Basto, Two DoorCinema Club, and the continued success of Adele.

New European airplay charts by Nielsen Music and Impala highlight the most successful independent artists of 2012’s second quarter

The latest European independent airplay chart released today by IMPALA and Nielsen Music highlight new entries and best climbers.

The chart has no less than ten new entries, with DJ Antoine featuring The Beat Shakers, Matt Houston and Die Toten Hosen appearing straight at the first three places of the chart. The best climbers include French artists Shaka Ponk, 1995 and Orelsan, as well as hip-hop trio De La Soul.

Most successful independent music in Europe so far in 2012, new download and airplay charts published by Nielsen and IMPALA

Nielsen Music Award first ever 200,000 UK Airplay Award to Snow Patrol for Chasing Cars

Snow Patrol's 2006 single 'Chasing Cars' has become the first song ever to be awarded the Nielsen Music 200,000 Plays Award for airplay across UK radio. This award recognises the achievement of all involved in making the record a radio hit.

DCFE students aim for the charts with Nielsen Music partnership!

The media students and artists at Dun Laoghaire College of Further Education (DCFE) have secured a partnership deal with Nielsen Music to release their new album "Native". Under this partnership Nielsen Music are introducing students to music media montoring and digital tracking, which has a value of over €2,000.
